Managed Hosting Services - Dedicated or Shared
Our Managed Hosting service can be delivered either on dedicated servers that we provide, or on our shared server infrastructure. Our services are scalable and designed to grow with you as you grow your business. Our state-of-the-art Data Center is maintained by experienced and certified network engineers to ensure the highest levels of network performance, reliability and security. Whether you’re implementing a marketing Web site or a full blown eCommerce portal, e.magination will design and deliver a hosting solution to perfectly fit your needs and stay within your budget.
Co-location Services - Managed or Unmanaged
e.magination provides co-location services in our Data Center, wherein our customer provides their own server hardware and software. We offer two types of co-location services, Managed and Unmanaged. With Managed Co-location, we provide on-going monitoring, support, network connectivity, and back-up for your co-located systems that you provide. With Unmanaged Co-Location you are responsible for managing your own co-located systems yourself, and we simply provide the space, power, network connectivity, and back-up services for your equipment and data.

Electrical Services
BG&E provisioned 2 13kv lines from 2 different substations that provide conditioned electrical power directly to the Data Center. 2 UPS 320 kw APC model: DP3320E and 2 PDU 112 kw PDU’s serve the Data Center with a 1000kw generator back-up.
Network Connectivity
We provide Internet connectivity via two or more Tier 1 Internet Service Providers that connect directly to the Data Center over separate fiber via different building entrances. Automatic failover is a key feature of this connectivity.
Network Security
Firewall protection is provided by dual failover Cisco Pix Firewall products. This platform provides robust, enterprise-class security services including stateful inspection firewalling. Enterprise anti-virus software is provided to all servers and configured to automatically update critical definition files.
Physical Security
Access to the e.magination Data Center is controlled by a Biometric Scanner and a Card Key access system. Access is limited to Support Personnel only. The Data Center is considered a “No-Lone-Zone;” visitors are required to be escorted at all times. The Data Center is also under 24x7 video surveillance. Checkin/checkout of all equipment (serial #) is required. Secure tracking of entry/exit logs and on-site security personnel patrol the campus.
Backup Services
Differential backups are performed daily with full backups occurring weekly. For an added level of protection backups are password protected and replicated daily to a secured offsite location. e.magination uses Veritas Backup Exec.
HVAC
6 Liebert CRAC units and 2 485 ton chillers provide another level of redundancy to further ensure consistently sound environmental conditions.
Fire Suppression
The Data Center, battery room, and switch room are all protected by a Dry Pipe Pre-action Fire Suppression system.
Advanced Site Monitoring
24x7 Advance Site Monitoring & Continuous Testing (per domain) - Continuous, comprehensive testing for web applications after deployment. Advanced Site Monitoring (ASM) acts like a quality assurance engineer, testing and reporting failures from an end-user's perspective in real time. Unlike other monitoring products and services that perform superficial tests on static pages, our ASM service initiates indepth tests that touch all tiers of multi-tier applications.
